- A constant coating of wax or sealant will protect the integrity of the paint on your vehicle, better helping to maintain the value of your investment
- Most quality carnauba waxes will only last about 30-90 days at best depending on the conditions the vehicle is exposed to. It is therefore recommended that a vehicle be detailed with a wax application every 2-3 months and washed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
- To prevent forming rust, dab a little clear nail polish on paint chips as a quick fix until you can get the proper touch-up supplies

- Check the tire pressure on a monthly basis. A low tire is not only dangerous to drive on, but can reduce your fuel efficiency by as much as 2-3 miles per gallon.
- Try to park in the shade if possible. By doing so will help to prevent UV damage to both the outside and the inside of your vehicle.
- Remove bird droppings as soon as possible. If left on long enough, it can permanently damage the paint beyond repair.
- If hand washing your car isn't an option, try using a touch-less car wash. Steer clear of gas station type automatic washes as these can damage and scratch the exterior of your car.
